Core Services & Methods
Garden Maintenance Services
We currently only do garden maintenance, which includes:
- Lawn cutting
- Edging
- Brush cutting
- Slashing
- Hedging
- Basic tree trimming
- Blowing
- Weed management
- Green waste removal
Service Methods
Grass Clippings: We use a mulching plug or side chute rather than collecting clippings. This:
- Adds nutrients back into the grass
- Reduces weeds
- Reduces unnecessary waste
- For longer grass, we use a side chute
Edging and Brushcutting Options:
- Default: Hard edge with pole edger, or brushcutter as backup
- Alternative: Flat edge with brushcutter (faster but more plastic waste)
- Special cases: Rotary scissor blade for areas with exposed windows or delicate objects
- Thick weeds and small shrubs: Brushcutter with blade
Height Limitations:
- No ladder work
- Hedging and tree trimming up to 3 metres using pole hedger/saw and extension
- Hedging up to 4 metres with scaffolding
- Tree services limited to basic shaping and clearance pruning
Weed Management:
- Hand/tool weeding for larger weeds (complete removal including roots)
- Organic herbicide (Slasher) for smaller weeds
- Weather-dependent spraying schedule
- No harsh chemicals used
Property Requirements
- Gardens must be free of rubbish and animal feces
- Non-compliance may result in service refusal and call-out fee
Equipment Specifications
We use EGO Power Plus electric equipment, selected for:
- Well-developed range of professional equipment
- Advanced battery solutions
- Professional charging capabilities
- Zero direct emissions
Vehicles
- Currently using ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles due to:
- Limited suitable EV options
- High EV purchase costs
- All vehicle emissions offset by 200%
- Future transition to EVs planned as technology matures

Our Smart Scheduling System: How It Works
We use a flexible scheduling system that helps us work more efficiently and reduce unnecessary driving between jobs. Here's how it works in detail:
Evening Updates
Each evening, we send updates to customers with:
- Next day's scheduled services
- Following morning's scheduled services (in case we get ahead of schedule)
Service Timing
You'll always get at least evening-before notice before we arrive. Our scheduling works like this:
- Morning jobs are guaranteed to happen on their scheduled day (except for extreme weather or unexpected events)
- Afternoon jobs might move to the next morning if we're running behind
- If we're working efficiently, we might reach you a day earlier than planned
Why We Do This
Traditional gardening services often lock themselves into strict time slots, often causing rushed work and inefficiencies. Our flexible system allows us to:
- Ensure each garden gets the attention it needs
- Reduce fuel usage and emissions
- Keep our prices competitive
- Maintain reliable service
What This Means For You
- You'll always know at least the evening before when we're coming
- No need to be home during the service
- We'll send photos once the job is complete
- Your garden gets maintained efficiently and reliably
